Bryson DeChambeau has issued an apology after he was caught in the background of a broadcast slamming his putter into the practice green at the WGC-Mexico. This happened after his first round where he shot four over and failed to record a birdie on the day. The Golf media was upset about the incident and took to their shows/twitter to pile on Bryson.
This is typical golf media blowing up a non-story. Bryson was practicing (we talking about practice) by iPhone flashlight trying to fix his putting after finishing second to last in the field in strokes gained-putting and frustration boiled over. This happens regularly on the PGA tour and even more in amateur play. I am not sure why the media feels it’s some sort of win to make him look bad and force him into a standard apology. At the end of the day golf is hard, let’s all relax a little on the unwritten rules.
This will never get old ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️
